It is a natural human trait to want to share our lives with a significant other. However, as society has changed, expectations have changed as well. Once upon a time, your parents would find you a suitable mate. After this, things became a bit more liberal and you would ask the father of your beloved for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Once you have gone past the point of dating and it is clear that you both like each other and want to take things further, you have to continue to work at it. There are many tips out there that can help you keep your relationship alive. So long as these are based on positive emotions, they are likely to be good tips. Best of all, we can learn from television as well. Take, for instance, the show 30 Rock.

What does that mean? Unless you want to watch all the episodes of 30 Rock, you may struggle with that one a little bit. Essentially, it means that even though feminism is now widely accepted, we are still not on a level playing field and are still 
influenced by society. You will not insult your other half by telling her you like how she cares for you in other words. At the same time, pamper her regularly as well.

According to JG-TC.com, you have to be open with your partner and let her be open with you. Responsibilities and chores should be equally divided, as should childcare if you get to that point. The most important thing however is that you notice and appreciate all your partner does for you and that she notices how much you do as well.
